Have you found the stock turbo particularly lacking in any regard?

nothing wrong, just old, looking at doing enginne work with new manifold and a ball bearing would be nice while its all off and looking for a suitable replacement. plus i know that matts_gemmy is looking to run big boost and wants to tweak the spool range a bit from stock.
