Simply if you didn't have a rattel before and you do now and if it is a good quality snorkel you haven't fitted it well enough . Make sure you are chaseing a rattel and not a bareable resonateing engine noise as you are not likely to get that out of a hilux . Hope this helps good luck , would be good to here the out come .
