We decided not to allow snatching after the Zuk on stage three went from on all four wheels to completely on its roof under a tree in a split second, because of too much inertia when the vehicle being recovered is really hung up. The use of tree trunk protectors means vehicles are close together, no inertia build up, it will just be a tow to recover the stuck vehicle.

We may yet penalise all winching, but the majority of vehicles will have to winch up the conveyor.

Love the feedback guys.
That would be my zook that was on its roof.
yeah the waythat zook went over was scarey.
but it seemed more a problem of poor or no communication and the other driver kept on driving.
so is there a length limit to the extension straps? can more then 1 be linked? to gain a length not for momentum as nobody wants to have that jolt.
Yea ive always maintained it was the zook in front of me's fault  (no not really)

It did go over very bloody quick and i guess it was just a bit of a freak thing. I wasnt hurt just a bit bruised. I can see where your coming from with the new rulings and i think they sound like heaps of fun. Making people drive the tracks instead having the reliance on winching will make it very interesting.

Thread steal.............Did anyone get footage??

well fellars looks like toperi is guna be another cracker this yr, managed to have a play on some of the newly landscaped track mods that tony s evil mind has created in between the rain, hopefully the rain will be gone in november other wise its guna be 2 gears higher and 5000 rpm more to go anywhere.
For those that are able to get to track 4 your in for an excellent and at points scary drive. slightly more off camber this yr so bring on november look forward to standing there watching :D

I will be e-mailing entries this weekend or early next week to all the clubs that competed last year, you will have 2 weeks start on any new teams so make the most of it. Also the first 10 teams to enter will get to pick where they start and on which stage ( 1 or 2 ).

If any club has changed e-mail contacts let me know ASAP.
