Vitara Seat Rails & Monza Seats

Post by smally4.0 »

G/Day all..
I hoping some one can help me.....Im going to look at a pair of monza seats in the morning. i want to fit these into my sons 1990 swb Vitara.
Has some one fitted aftermarket seats to their Vitara and if so where did you purchase the seat rails, are these expensive for the Vitara...
Thanks Smally

Hi People....
I have sourced some custom seat rails from the US. These fit the Sidekick which i do believe is the same as Vitara .....
Does anyone know? if left hand drive (US models)& right hand drive(aussie) have the same floor pan...

Hi smally,

are you talking about the rails that slide the seat?? these should have come with the seat,

if you are talking about the rail that fits to seat mounts just make some out of angle, and weld the rails to it, easy peesy

Hi Loose

i could fab some brackets up that would bolt to the Vitara floor pan, then bolt the monza seat rails to these... but im thinking about purchasing some
corbeau seat brackets from the usa that fit the side kick(Vitara).

But i don't know if the floor pans are the same? as the sidekick is lhdrive.
The corbeau custom seat brackets would look abit neater & not be so noticable if my sons car is inspected....by the boys in blue

The corbeau brackets are reasonably priced..... But i dont wont to order these , until i can find out the floor pans are the same?...

i've had the seats out on mine & looking at the floorplan i can't see why they would change the seat mounts on the floor for a LHD.

got a link to the seat rails?

that link works, it sounds very promising... have you tried shooting them an email or you could post on one of the US suzuki forum such as Zuharrie
