hi all i am looking at putting power steering into my hj47 but i wanted to bottom mount my pump like the 60series, i have both the 60series and the other pump that mounts near the top, i am wondering if the 60series engine mount, not the rubber part but the part that the pump bolts to will fit my 47 series 2h and chassis. if anyone can tell me this before i start the project that would be great
Thanks Shane Mulcahy

Re: 60series bottom mount powersteering pump to 47
I'm pretty sure i used an engine mount from the 60 series 2H with power steering to use the low mount pump on the 2H in my old HJ47 Troopy. I might have pics around somewhere of it... I'm pretty sure the correct engine mount makes it work, although i believe i had to modify the bottom rad outlet because it comes out straight into the pump (when it's low mounted)
was about $50 at the local rad joint to modify.

Can be done, but you need the engine mount. There is a long bolt which goes all the way through it too.
