Need pics of Buddys shock hoops got pics thankyou

Post by DUDELUX »

This goes out to anyone that has some Buds Customs front shock hoops fitted to their lux.
Can you please post up a pic or 2 of them fitted.
I have recently bought some and want to see how they look once fitted. Just so I know how they are supposed to be welded in, there is 2 little round pieces that came with the hoops, and I want to see where and how they go.
Just so I fit them correctly.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much Tony.
With the round pieces, are they just welded together on the top of the chassis rail??
Do I need to plate over the chassis then weld on??
Or is it fine to ust weld to the chassis??
Thanks again.

Ideally the 2 smaller tubes should be welded with them angled outwards but this isn't always possible to get a good weld or crap is in the road & only way to make it work is pull stuff off the motor, so a comprimise is sometimes achieved.
You don't need to plate where these smaller braces go but definately plate vertical face for main attachment of hoops if you intend on abusing the vehicle.
