Marks 4wd tcase gear for the Pajero

Post by monmendoza »

Hey guys,

I purchased a 2.8 Tcase gear from marks4wd adaptor last year. I never got to install it because
my pajero still have problems. I think the time has come for me to install it. Has anybody in
the forum installed it before? Is there anything that I should watch out? It is for the 2.6L
engine and Box type pajero. Does anybody has an installation guide for it? Would appreciate
if you can post pictures as well. If anybody has a video link , that would be awesome.
I have a 2.6L pajero service manual with me but additional info would be great. :)
Many thanks in advance. :)

Sorry mate. There hasn't been a lot of discussion here on people fitting these gears. I suspect that most members take the easy way out, and let somebody else fit them - I know I did.

From memory, there have been a few topics discussing installation, but not a lot of detail.

These two might get you started?

Many thanks Scott, this will be a good start. After the repainting of my pajero is
finished, I will have them installed by a professional mechanic. I will also have the
manual printed by then . Thank you again. :)
