I have a 1989 triton and i want to lift it. can and if how much could i do this by winding the front torsion bars? the rear is no probs as it is leaf springs.

With a Mitsubishi front end, 2" is generally regarded as OK. Take it to a decent alignment shop afterwards, as the caster will need correcting by adding some more shims. This will typically require replacing bolts with longer HT bolts, which are probably not going to be available on a weekend - so try to book it in on a weekday, or at least call and discuss the issue first.
