What a great weekend! Thanks to Davo, Dukesy and Brent for the weekend, Thanks to all the competitors and congrats to Brian and David for their first place in both this round and the series. Congrats to Dave in the zook for his first place in both the round and the series as well. Well done on setting the stage WTC boys, as i am sure that we all have a ball. Night stages were fantastic and have heard a lot of good comments from spectators in regards to them.

For all competitors, confirmation that there will be a 3 car this year and it will be held at the end of October - keep your eye open on both outers and the CQ Offroad Club site.

Thanks again for a great weekend and cant wait for next year.

Cheers Team Swamp Donkeez :D

Did your dad write that for you Dave?? Aha, nah just jokes, top effort mate! The huuuge rocks and super deep water didn't claim the zook this time round haha,

And congratulations to Brian and Dave from team EFS, one of the best teams out there by far, both from a racing point of view and also for being so approachable and friendly to everyone! I also would like to add that one day when I grow up to be a reall navi, I hope I'm half as good as Dave!! Man he flies up those winch walls,

Team Toygoata would like to thank Dukesy, Davo and Brent, once again an awesome event guys! Can't wait to see what you have in store for us next year!!

And finally I'd like to congratulate Team Toygoata (ourselves) for finishing a comp  man o man we are good haha,

So until next time this is the fastest navi in Gladstone signing out!! :D

Hi Guys,

Over 1200 photos from Round 2, Enduro & Round 3 are up on http://www.capturedscenes.com.au" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Photos are in low resolution so as to be able to have them all on the website at once. The details are on there if you wish to order any.

Enjoy

I am considering doing a glossy book with everyones favourite photos, if there is enough interest and I can get it produced at a reasonable price. So click on the email spot and send me the filenames of your favourite photos. The file name is on the bottom right of each photo.

I wish to thank Ian, Brad and Brent for the opportunity to photograph the events and congratulate them on a very successful series. Also congratulations to all the winners.

Thank you also to all competitors for their cooperation at the events especially when things weren’t going your way and you turn around only to see a camera aimed at you. Lucky photos dont have sound. Ha Ha

Looking forward to seeing you all next year.

On behalf of DBD Events who run the WTC series i would like to thank all the competitors who gave us a chance to hold our winch series, all the officials who gave up there time to come and help, our sponsors who backed us for the year and all the spectators who came to support there teams.

2011 will see our rules made clearer for competitors and officials and we welcome any input you have.

One thing is certain at the moment. Neck braces will be compulsory equipment. We hope to once again run 3 winch rounds plus our now infamous enduro event.

Once again thanks to everyone for the support for the year and we look forward to bringing you a bigger and better series next year.

Cheers from DBD Events.

Should be bigger Brent. I know of 3 cruiser being rebuilt for next year so we dont get three trolls on the podium. I m looking forward to it. Im sure there are more being built for it. Well organised comps, top tracks and approachable teams to learn from and have beer with. I have met more people in the CQ comp circuit than down here.

STOCKERS WITH LOCKERS HAVE OPENED SOME EYES ON WHAT IT TAKES TO WIN A MODIFIED COMP  YOU DONT NEED A BIG CAR OR BIG DOLLERS AND TOWING THE ZUC WOULD HAVE TO BE A HOLE HEAP EASIER THAN THE BIG PATROLS AND CRUISERS. THE RED BOOK PRICE ON THESE CARS HAVE JUMPED UP UVER NIGHT IF YOU CAN FIND ONE

WELL DONE BOYS I THINK THE CLASS WILL GROW NEXT YEAR ALSO. :smilecolros:
