hi im geting my mates diffs out of his tb42 with airlockers they are 3.9 gears and i think my td42 are 4.11 will these go ok i will be turboing it at the same time any info would be good experience etc

yeah i wouldnt be keen.

ive got wagon 4.11 in my turbo td42. on the tracks they are OK with 33's but not low enough with 35's on. Specially going DOWN tricky stuff.

4.3's would suit the 35's perfectly.

but ultimately what i would like is to keep the 4.11's and put reduction gears in my T/F case for the fun stuff.

The GU TD42T wagons all came with 3.9's. I am running them on 33" with 85% reduction and it is fine. On 35" I would be looking lower, and reduction gears.

Get them anyway..especially with the lockers and change your cw and pinions over to your 4.1's. - 3.9 with 35's would be just about unbearable imo.
