Would love to be there but Scott and I have to be in Townsville 7am Monday morning. By the time we got out of there and then bought the truck back to the shed it would be a big drive on Sunday.

I already told you i can keep the truck in the backyard until you get home! The disco will pull it im sure and at least when people see the exo cage it will be obvious why its on the trailer behind the Landy!

Cant wait for the run i got my new spare yesterday in prep for it, 5 hours later i need another spare :?

Might take you up on that Tobstar. The Townsville job has come forward and we may be able to make it back in time. Let you know. You want to ride with me as Lyndsay as confined to home for 2 weeks.

Meeting place -open area at top of big red (plenty of room for trailers) if not sure were that is pm me.
Rating- med to hard
When -September 11th Meet 6.00pm -Leave 7.00pm
What - it is a mapped night run USING A STICK MAP http://www.classicrally.com.au/Stick%20 ... itions.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
There will be hot food and cold drinks for sale at the start of the run.
Volunteers needed for cpts (great way to see the action without using your own car)
If i don't have enough people for cpts i'll run it as a tag along.

Non club members are welcome, though we would like you to please buy some raffle tickets at the start to support the club remember only two runs as a visitor before you are required to join

All vehicles must have front and rear recovery points, and minimum of 1 Snatch Strap and 2 rated shackles all in good condition.

All vehicles must be able to self recover if required, although this is a club run event, it is not our responsibility to provide recovery, it is recommended to all people attending that they assess all sections prior to attempting them. We however will not leave any one stranded in the middle of the bush and do whatever we can to get everyone out.

As is a condition with all night runs these are a drug and alcohol free events. This apply's for drivers as well as passengers. No exceptions will be made and anyone caught in breach of this will be asked to leave.

Just got home. This was a great run, had a lot of fun and managed to drive all sections and hard lines on checkpoints (although some sections of the track I reckon were tricker than the checkpoints).

Ho Chin MIn track (now have a name for it) was a blast. The only breakage that I know off was was burnt out wiring on my ARB compressor when reinflating the tyres which is a bit of WTF situation. Never had this problem before and filling the cab with smoke it was a bit alarming. Some thing to do tomorrow after cleaning the car.

Thanks again to the organisers and Logan 4WD Club for putting this and other events on.

Cheers,
Stinger (the big white 80)

Thanks to stinger for tow that was a descent hole we found before cp2 plus cheers to fella in b/s cut down patrol for the use of his compressor so we get the pede going again. It was a interesting drive back to the matida servo with about 5 lt of water and a half a bucket of mud still in the tyre.
