stuck speedo cable
okay so i bought a zook about a month ago and the speedo cable is broken and i cannot get it out any help would be great and yes i do know how to take them out the little nut under neath it and it still wont move
Re: stuck speedo cable
I have built and rebuilt about 25 transfers now and have has 2 I couldn't get out. I have had a few that were really hard for those I used a small set of vise grips and a few taps with a hammer after soaking it with WD. The 2 that were really stuck I ended up using a press and left them in there place and slowly pressws out the shaft. Use a small screwdriver to spin the speedo as you press the shaft out. One of them as soon as I started pressing on the shaft it popped out by it self.
Hope that made sence and helps you out. Pm me if you want me to further explain.

Re: stuck speedo cable
Ohhh and when you put it back together be sure to put a little grease on the O-ring so it is easy next time.
