Fuel Rated Clear Hose

Post by coolfishluke »

Does anyone know if clear fuel hose to suit petrol is available? And if so who supplies it.

I am only after a very short length 12mm / 1/2" diam

I want to use it vertically on the side of a fuel tank as a visual reference to the fuel level.

Cheers

I would try to steer clear of it, sun and dirt eventually will make it dirty...

Plus light encourages algal growth.

Run a fuel guage like out of a tinny fuel tank.

Its a lid, you unscrew it to fuel up, and the lid has a float thing attached and E=F with an arrow.

You would be surprised how similar they are.

We make the material for both.
The resin is the same - but the plasticisers are different - normal flexable hose plasticisers tend to come out with the petrol - making the hose hard.
We also add an anti static product to the material.

Most petrol hose is tinted pink to make it obvious in the market.

Edit: we sell pellets not hose - so no freebies sorry
