Looking for a comparative between power, fuel economy, and cost.
1. what has your build cost?
2. power figures / fuel-kl ms?
3. any recommendations for build?
I have a TB42 auto running 18L/100kms, oil use and pore power so needs new motor. Wish to find out what people have done with TB42's or V8 conversion.
I will be using car as a family tourer / comp car (35's road, 4"). So that is were economy and reliability comes into it.

Re: Patrol LS1 V's Turbo TB42
ok heres mine, from the days of oscar, the old tired motor, in ralph i would expect more power:
146rwkw @ 8psi
163rwkw @ 16psi
setup cost me about 3g, did all the work myself, and with the help of mates
the 3 included the dyno time and gas kit, and ignition kit etc. it was a tight ass budget build.
uses roughly 20L per 100k's at 8psi, oh did i mention it was straight gas, so its cheap as chips to run
