Busting tie rods

Post by outlawgq »

Whats the norm to fix (if there is one) the problem of busting tie rods on the draglink (GQ) due to the angle its on from the 6" lift. Was suggested to fit a gu box but the tie rod bolts on the top of the pitman arm so to me wouldn't seem to change the angle of the drag link all that much. Something that would bolt to the left knuckle to lift that end up would look to be the fix anyone know of anything available. Please before anyone asks why 6" lift it suits me & the GQ where I wheel.
