1HD-T rpm

Post by Badass Bundy »

Hi guys

I have a 1991 1HD-T with 355000 on the clock. I took it for a drive today and noticed when I was stationary, the rpm would be on 0. But when got moving again it would jump up higher. Sometimes it would flick from 0rpm to higher rpm. The engine is not playing up at all.

Any help to diagnose the problem would be great.

tacho pickup is in the injection pump between the pump and the block. I'd check all the wiring connections before I took the sensor out.
