any differance between mq and gq gear box and tranfer

hi guys just wondering if there is any differance between the mq and gq box and tranfer case as will they be fine to go behind a holden 5L

the Gearboxes and Transfer cases are totally different between the MQ and GQ.

First the transfer case, the MQ's rear output is offert to towards the drivers side, where the GQ one is center output.

the gearboxes are also different as they are designed for different engines.

however both can go behind the 5L engine, i think Dellows make an adapter that puts the Holden 308 to the MQ box and both Dellows and Marks do a Holden/Chev to GQ gearbox adapter

Well if you have a GQ, use your GQ gearbox and T case

i have a dellows kit for a 308 trimatic pattern to gq box. brand new just fitted up to look at for a while haha. pm me if interested
