how much weight can the back door take

I just bought a Nissan patrol 01' model and put 35" tyres on it and 4" lift kit and am wanting to put the spare tyre on the back door is their a limit to what weight I can put on the back door or is there something i can do to strengthen the door?

It will take the weight of an 35.
Ensure its mounted close as you can.

I had a 35 mounted on my factory unit with no problems for a couple of years, some people have ended up with collapsed hinges but there is a company remanafacturing the hinges, not sure of the name though

The rear door does seem to have a known problem of developing a crack half way up,it seems some people have cracked doors on low K cars ,that have never been off road, and have only ever had a standard spare.

While others have hung 35's on the door and been round Aus 30 times and rocket jumped over turtles n stuff without a single issue. :)
