maxi drive have closed the doors (retired), so pretty sure there un available :cry:

MaxiDrive is closed down but you can buy them from germany. Not exactly the same but same design.

Have a look at http://www.killeraxles.com.
Most is written in german but i can translate some of it for you, if needed.

These guys make most maxi-drive products. They are starting up locker manufacture again - and may eventually manufacture the portals as well.

The tibus ones are worth something like $17k from memory.

i rang mal maybe 5 years or so ago and asked how much for his portals, they were $10k then and he had one set left, they were mainly made for export.
1986 - Stage 1 V8 serIII style side ute - gone
1997 - 300 TDI 130 single cab ute - gone
1986 - 90 defender soft top, bars, buttons and tyres
2000 - TD5 disco 'the boss's rig'

I agree...I think HyTuff would be the best chance of them happening again.
