How much wider is an 80 rear diff over a 60 rear diff?
As above had a bit of a search but couldn't find any decent information. I want cruiser diff with a center diff for my build, already have a 60 series diff but its drivers side offset. Thanks in advance.

80 diff is offset drivers side too. Try a patrol they are centered.

Cruiser diff can be flipped and rotated to keep the driveshaft away from the fuel tank, otherwise you can get a custom set up made.
The 80 is quite a bit wider than the 60.
Cheers

80 diff is 6 inches wider than a hilux diff and 4 inches wider than a 60 series diff.

In that case I'll just stick with the 60 diff. Will wait and see what the drive line angles look like.

Mine has no driveline issues with the offset 60 series diff.
The driveline also doesn't care which way the offset goes, up, down, left, right, diagonal, it's just the overall angle that matters.

Sounds good, The box I'm using is bit longer than a hilux box so I'm abit worried it will affect the angles aswell. Will find out next week when I fit the G/box.

I used the differentials of a Toyota dyna truck, which is centered and with 40/60 series 3rd member
for my Pajero SAS conversion.

Re: How much wider is an 80 rear diff over a 60 rear diff?
Apparently a 105 rear housing long side can be shortened to the short side length and have a short side axle shaft installed to make the diff centred and axle as wide as a hilux axle..
