100 series electric locker fitting
Hi All
Found an electric diff lock from 100 series, it is the complete front housing.
I have the standard hzj105r 1hz powered truck around the 04 model. can I just whack it in and connect power or is the gearing wrong?
if the gearing is wrong can i fit the centre to my gears? or does a specialist need to do it?
cheers

Good Bye Grand Vitara, Hello 100 Series.
Re: 100 series electric locker fitting
Yeah you can put your gears in it. Yeah it will work.
It is a specialised job, but it is do-able.

Re: 100 series electric locker fitting
specialized job=$$$$ I might just buy the lokka to replace the unlimited slip rear diff, like i was gonna in the first place.
Re: 100 series electric locker fitting
You would be looking at approx $300-$400 to have gears fitted in the diff, but its also not as easy as just hooking power up you will need either the orginal wiring or wiring it through 2 relays, as this is what i have done. can supply a diagram if needed.

Re: 100 series electric locker fitting
you will also need the short side inner axle. it is longer than standard and has longer spline to carry the locking sleevecrunk81us wrote:Hi All

Its the rear locker that has one of the axles with a longer spline.
