What engine did your lux start with, do you need to fit a petrol tank with EFI pump or do you already have one?

What transmission are you going to use?

Actually fitting a GMH V8 in will be an easy conversion as far as conversions go, you will need to buy a re programmed memcal for the holden computer that does not look for the body control module and either wire the engine in yourself or buy a conversion wiring loom.

You will need to have custom extractors made, nothing from the Holden or aftermarket range will bolt straight in.

You will need to fit a 308 short snout water pump and vee pulleys in order to run an engine driven fan.

Also a heap of other little tricks that you will learn along the way.

Cheers

haha well was goin to do another 3rz and turbo it, they are fairly strait foward. but picked up the statesman for 1000 bucks, so couldnt go past it up, and will be able to make my money back wrecking it. its in excellent condition apart from where it got rear-ended,
