et2's on sand

wondering how simex et2's go on the beach? dont wanna do the 2 sets of tyres thing when i only go up the beach maybe twice a yr.

I had mine on the beach about 10 times while I ran them and they did very well for an aggressive tyre.

I ran them at between 10-12 psi depending how soft the sand was and never lost a bead.

You need to remember that if you stop going foward then don't spin the wheels as they dig in fast,
I could always back out of anywhere i drove and have another go.

I saw several cars run them on beaches for 5 days, they worked pretty well really.

dunno about the ET2, but the JT2's are perfectly fine on the sand. On stockton sand they are fairly normal, at Fraser they totally rocked. 10-11psi for a week and no bead problems.

spent a week and a half in tassie on the beaches with about 18psi and didnt have a problem, could have gone lower in the pressure but didnt really need to

thankyou. that settles it then. i will leave them on for the next trip up to fraser and see how they go.

mine just dig holes... you need to dump ALL of the air out of them to get any bagging - in my sierra i've gone to 5psi and they still look like theyre at 20... sure they flex a little, but not like you'd expect - and given ANY right foot whatsoever they just dig a gigantic hole for all 4 wheels =P

great in the mud though!
