Just wondering if i by a car that is Engineering in NSW will that swap over to vic or dose it have to be looked at again
any info would be good cheers

This is going back a while, but it probably hasn't changed. About 12 years ago i moved from NSW down to Geelong. I had a hilux with a commodore V6 and a 3" body lift. When i went to change the rego over to Vic no one would give me a rego certificate without an engineers report. Tried 4 different places, they all said the same thing.
Had to drop the body lift back to 2" to get the report, then got rego no worries
Makes sense, must abide by the rules in the state of registration

This is the reason why we need a national code of practice.
