Need to source Narva product before w/end

Post by ash_on_mtb »

I need to source a Narva product before the weekend, like I said.

Image

Part number is 54433

Need 2 of 'em

Located inner SE Melbs.

I've tried Bursons, Repco, Autobarn, East Coast Auto, EziAutoParts and none can guarantee that they'll be able to get it in on time. I really need one off the shelf. Narva distributors won't help, tried that today, they just say go to above listed stores...

Anyone got ideas, or seen one in their shop etc??

Cheers,

This guy might be worth a try, I got part No. 54432 from him by overnight delivery.

power distribution block. One feed in, 8 fused feeds out. MUCH neater and potentially safer/reliable.

You can get them in 6, 8, or 10. Each block has a max combined rating of 150A and each fused outlet has a max rating of 25A. Narva's had them for a few years now but only recently have they made covers for them thanks to yours truly who made some annoying squeeky noises to them :D
And they're pretty cheap too, from about $25 with cover for the 6 way block. Never had any trouble with them on my Patrol or customers vehicles, just make sure the main feed is fused close to the main battery with the appropriate rating. A 150A ANL fuse is the best bang for buck.
Best part is you can put the blocks close to where your accessories are with one main feed cable from the battery instead of multiple cables going through the firewall and piggy backing on the battery terminals.
