Whats an 05 zd30 engine worth?

As the title suggests I'm just wondering what my engines worth its a series 4 with 100 000 k's . Its already out of the vehicle, what do u guys think?

Sadly it si worth mroe in the vehicle, and with 100,000ks.... its a bit of a risk.

Having said that it is actually worth something if someone has a blown up one and wants to just install a new one, then you might fetch good money for it.

Its a 5 yr old motor with 100,000km on it and a checkered history to boot.

Won't be much unless you get a wrecker to sell it for you and split the funds.

Possibly is worth more in parts...easier for people to see if its about to go bang or not.

Selling it as a series4 lowish km motor its gotta be worth a grand or 2. Especially if its a complete motor with bolt ons. Actually might even be worth more stripped. Last I heard those injector pumps were gold at the wreckers.

Yes there a bit unreliable. But still worth good money I would say.

Concidering the fact that you have not provided enough information to make an informed decission. I would say that it is probally worth nothing because for all we know it might have a hole in a piston.
Hell, if Bogged was around he would sugest a negative figure.

Seriously though it depends what comes with the engine. The bolt on bits are worth as much as the motor itself if they are in good nick. Is the engine dead or do you just want to go slower? (serious question there.)

If everything is in good nick. You could easily get $5000 for it. This includes motor, turbo, manifolds, injector pump intercooler...
Selling it for $3500 might make you look like a di#khead.

Its a complete engine with all accessories with gearbox. Its only out of the vehicle because i'm getting a duramax put in, theres no holes in pistons it runs perfectly fine, thanks to the guys that were genuine, my last post was directed to the idiots with nothing constructive to add.
