diff breathers

Post by RunnerMitch »

I am currently putting some diff breathers in my 4runner with the g52 gearbox and i think its a chain driven transfer and cannot not see how to get the standard toyota breather off the transfer case any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Mitch

judging buy where my 75 breathers are, it will be much easier to do with the box out.

yeah there isnt much room but the problem is that unlike all the other breathers the transfer one dosent seem to have a hex shape base to undo.

Yeah I think they are. All you can do is lever the cap off and clamp your breather hose straight on that port.
