Hi all,

Got an old 720 ute with an sd22 but some one has converted it to a rotary style pump. Now it has about 300'ks on the engine. Drove it about 3 weeks ago probably 10 klms or so. Now is starts fine with the small puff of white and black smoke idles fine for about a minute then runs ruff coughs and eventually dies all in a cloud of white smoke. I have changed the fuel filters cracked the injector feeds to bleed air off. I have noticed that the more it runs the more the primer on the filters gets sucked down. If you rev it, it will run longer but not much.........

Wouldnt be a fuel block somewhere ???

Well found the drama, small hairline crack in the rubber hose on the tank side of the fuel filters.
