Try doing a search, it has been asked a bit which is why you'll struggle to get reply's.

What goes on a 2.8 is the same for the 3.0L

Mate put a kit on his and it was a garret turbo which made a big difference compared to normal (no down shifts on hwy hills). No fire breather coz he still had standard exaust ect but it drove real well.

also from what i know most of the popular kits use the mitsubishi td04e water cooled eg there is a guy on ebay that sells from sydney i think kits for around 2400 with it. its a DTS kit

turbo kit has a 12 month warrenty

the kit is complete with everything needed nothing else to buy.

it has all high quality braided oil and water lines all neat cast piping has a dump pipe with flex joint witch joins to ur orginal exhaust system.

not a bad buy if your lookin for something simple

Hahaha, the bloke in the ebay add says he has been in the off road industry for 9 years but types like he just finished highschool. He maybe fine, but I couldn't help feeling that he is probably mates with buttlux, from willd 4x4. I'd be careful, thats all.

I think that would be the ct20 mentioned earlier. Just from the reading I have done on it, the ct20 is slightly small for the 2.8, so I would have thought it would be worse for the 3.0l.

Depends on which CT20 you get. Do the single turbo 1JZ or 1HD-FTE ones have the same exhaust flange bolt pattern as the 2L-T CT20's? Might be able to use the 2L exhaust manifold with a newer turbo.

Go a Garrett t25 or T28 of the silvia import ca18t or sr20t motors! pick them up on ebay quite regular! Most of the import guys upgrade there stock turbos so basicly give these away! got one on my 3l works a treat with the 35's !

The Ct12B turbo from the 3.0 1kz engine would be a good option. Right size for the engine.
