WHAT CV'S FIT

Post by gen3ls1 »

I have been told that my model Disco uses 3 different types of CV by onlineautoparts. I thought that if i supplied my vin/ chassis number i could be told exactly what CV'S i need for my truck.
The different spline measurements where:-
From 88-91......10x32x66.8
From 91-94......24x32x67
And some use....24x23x44.3
Its a 1991 series 1, 3.5 inj V8, 5 sp man, 5 door
I got a quote from MM-4X4 in the UK and supplied my vin/ chassis number and they quoted me on 1 specific CV for my truck.
Can somebody please help me out, do i have to take my CV'S out and get them measured up or can i trust that what MM 4X4 have quoted me are the correct 1s.
Cheers, Jai.

i personally would go aftermarket or replace the axles and cv's with range rover ones. i found if you get the ones out of a 2dr they seem to last longer. if you want or need axles and xv's just pm me
there is no such thing as a stupid idea... just a person who owns a rover!!!

If yours is a 91 it will have 10 spline axles. The changeover to 24spline was in late 93 to early 94. All updates are 24 spline but late pre updates are a mix.
