GU ute chassis issues??

i have heard about gu chassis having a lot of problems and having recalls on them, just wondering if anyone know if its specific models, be it coil cals or leaf, or only say 2006-2010 or something.
i am about to buy one and wodering wat i should steer clear from if any?

If carrying a heavy load they seem to be breaking the rear coil mounts. They tear off the chassi. There are brace kits that seem to fix the problem.

coils, ute nd wagon have problems with tearing off the rear coil mount. as said if you get it b4 it goes its an easy fix superiour sell a kit for them. The leaf springs dnt have a problem.
Blown ls1 GQ winch truck. and GU tow car / daily

Steer clear of government/ mining/ fleet vehicles. I've been told the early utes with the big white 'Telstra' type box on the rear used to snap the chassis clean in half between the cab and the box. The later ones have extra plating around this section of the chassis.

I'd avoid leaf springs with air bags too -see picts.
