RA & TF Frond Disk Rotors

Hi all,

Anyone out there have any knowledge if the 280mm front disks (and of course calipers) from a RA Rodeo can be put onto the TF R7/R9 Rodeo which have only 257mm rotors? I do not have an RA readily available to compare but I am curious if the caliper bolt spacing my abe the same and the axle profile is the same???

Thanks for the reply. The Jac disk rotors are, acording to the workshop manual, the same size as the standard rodeo, so no advantage.

I don't really know, I will definitely take advice from those on the forum. But ... in the workshop manual I have for the Jacks, it only mentions the 257mm.

Jackaroo's from 1992 on are 280mm and would easily swap over.

92 Jack ... ah huh. My manuals started at 2000. So Yarno, sorry for the million & one questions but being a larger rotor, would the whole hub assembly need changing or is the caliper larger ??? Will it fit onto the Rodeo hub assembly?

Oh.. BTW.. I have to extend a big thankyou as well. Was reading an old post you put in re a mob in NZ .. 4x4Isuzu.. about an intercooler for the 4JB1T. So I contacted them and are shipping over the intercooler, mounts, hoses, vaccume buts and bonnet scoop for $506NZ. ($395 AUS) delivered inc GST. Could not sorse one over here the life of me!

Ok, the hubs are the same, you'll need the callipers and discs from the roo.

Hey, thanks for the confirmation ... re the cooler .. yep, it rocked up yesterday. Bloody fast prompt treatment. Got the intercooler, the hoses from the inlet manifold and turbo, mounting hardware and bonnet scoop. The bonnet scoop got a bit smashed up in transit but nothing a bit of fibre glass will not fix. So, thanx to the guys at 4x4Isuzu and thanks Yarno for the original post!
