60 series rear bar ideas

looking at making up a 60 series rear bar...any ideas...would not mind one with tyre carrier/jerry can carrier etc but something that looks good and will protect the car..

Hi guys, this is my 1st post here. esp22, if you going through the exercise of custom made rear bar why not consider quarter chop at the same time? You mentioned protecting your car and I assumed you meant your rear where 60 series are known to be very vulnerable. Departure angle will increase by about 25% and it will look the goods.

definitely cut your guards, and then its up to you with what you want, do you want tube??? do you want plate?? can you weld, and do the work yourself.

the swing away part is the hardest. but there is a few threads on here about how to do that and lock it in to the bar.

yeh will be doing the guard chip just wondering if anyone had any photos of some good looking ones..dont think i will be going tube bar but will take any photos for some design ideas...thansk
