motor

Post by slowhilux »

1GGTE...same motor as my Celica. This is 1 of the "alternative" motors that i was talking about on Snake forums.

PS....MoTec M48 + 2 GTR T28s + custom manifold + 600x300x75mm bar and plate i/c = 325hp@ wheels on 16psi   (well thats in the celica anyways)

CORRECT
"alternative" indeed, it is straight six, long, needs a firewall mod, or two, can run a/c and p/s too though!!

Shouldn't need to mod the fire wall. The 1G is basically the same length as my Supra 5M which bolts in no prob :)

The 1G is only 2L tho, basically a 4AGE with 2 xtra cylinders.

Heres a pic of my 5M (2.8 litre) and a 2JZ (3.0 litre) I spotted in a lux

since 7mge-'s are readily avaliable ...why not obtain one of them for a cubes increase and swap all the goodies over ? (if possible)

For me personally the 5M is cheap :D
The choice was a 5M + Lockers or a 7M :?

Prices here are:
$250 - $1000 for the 5M
$500 - $2000 for the 7M
$1400 - $2500 for the 2JZ
