well harden up & drive the obstacles cleanly first time & you should have plenty of time left for track 4

quite a few teams managed to have time left for track 4 last year

Hi guys

I'd love to compete or spectate this event, but i can't access the canobolas website due to chinese web censoring :bad-words:

Can someone PDF the rules/info and send them to me via email?

what does spectating cost and are there any restrictions on being a spectator?

what is entry fee for a competitor and is there a club out there willing to sponsor me to entry ( i believe you have to be a member of a club)
are there any entry places left?
vehicle rules and classes?
is there anybody out there that needs a team mate? twin locked coily 75 series on 37's, exo and no vehicle sympathy.

its cheap as chips to come & spectate !!! a top camping spot too ( onsite showers avaliable too !! )

you only have to be a club member to compete ... anyone can come & spectate
are there any entry places left?
No there was a full field of entries with in about 3 weeks of the event being open this year
vehicle rules and classes?
there are no classes , its a 2 car team event with the 2 vehicles being able to "assist each other", there is no limit to tyre size or mods
is there anybody out there that needs a team mate? twin locked coily 75 series on 37's, exo and no vehicle sympathy.
i wish you luck there !!

We're looking at coming to spectate.

Can someone please confirm that it is $40 per person for the weekend? The website says "Camp sites available. $40.00 for the weekend". Am I right in assuming $20 per person for us for the weekend is a bit cheap??

Pre-paid camping & spectating is $30 per adult kids under 16 free. On the comp weekend it will be $40 per adult for the weekend kids still free. There will be showers.

If you PM me you can still prepay for camping.

I will be posting the run order early next week now that all teams that got to choose a start position have done so. All except Bong Bong chose to start on stage 1.

Also next week I will be e-mailing out the competitor passes, every team will have a unique code on thier passes and a sheet will be kept at the front gate to be marked off as you arrive so there can be no doubling up.

Everything is looking fantastic here, the tracks are finished, some new bonus lines to be driven.

Are you guys ready!!!

Shane does normally drive outside his comfort zone when we go wheeling, it doesn't take much to rev him up ;) .

If we play it right we could get to see some expensive carnage out of him.
Besides he has to quikly hurry all weekend because of all his bling bits that are deducting our time. :bad-words:

The Canobolas 4wd club has obtained a five year DA for our event. On behalf on the club I’d like to thank all previous competitors and spectators for their consideration when arriving and leaving Toperi Park the last two years. We have had little resistance in the lead up to this year’s event and we’d like to keep it that way for next year.
The normal property rules will apply as per the previous years i.e. no fireworks, pets, motorbikes, quads, fires etc. We will have a welding area set aside this year so as to minimize the chance of bush fire.
The main gate will be locked at 11pm Friday night and will reopen the next morning. If you arrive after that time you will have to camp in the front paddock and then relocate to the camping area the next morning.
This years Toperi will again be known as The Tough Dog Toperi Challenge. Tough Dog confirmed today that they are prepared to put their name on our event for the next three years. Snake Racing and TJM/Opposite lock Orange have also confirmed their support for this years challenge.
The event is shaping up to be a cracker. We only have a few small track maintaince jobs to be done before the challenge but we are having a difficult time with the continued rain.
Tony is our competition manager, so if you have any question, direct them to him. For anything else post them up here and one of us will get back an answer.
Travel safe and I’ll see you at Toperi.

Cheers
Glenn Gosper
