Neg 22(-22) would be a good offset to use Id say.
Thats a Cruiser/Lux offset and suits heaps of different vehicles.
I have my old Lux rims(15x7 sunnys)on Mrs Ds Paj with 31s.
Just make sure you get 15x8 rims.

The General Tires website recommends 15x8.5 up to 15x11 rims for that tire, under heavy offroading the 15x8 might pop the bead too easy, but for road use you would be fine... Chris

For most 12.5in wide tyres, its best to use a 15x8 rim.
For a 10.5in wide tyre, its best to use a 15x7 rim.
For any tyre wider than 12.5in wide, its best to use a rim 15x10 or wider.

Agree with Dudelux, but without arguing, as long as you're not running too low a pressure, if you're rock crawling then invest in some beadlocks and weld them on!!

I have some 33x12.5 Super Swampers, on the sidewall it recommends a 15x10inch rim to be used.
If you speak to most on here and most wheel shops that have any idea, they will say 15x8 is best for 12.5in tyre.

I believe the Australian Tyre & Rim manual specifies 8.5" minimum width for a 12.5" wide tyre (unless they've changed it in the last year or so). Bit of a bugger when some states have placed a limit of an 8" maximum rim width (for other than OE fitment).

Then you could go 16x8 Scott and fit 285/75/16 which is 32.9" OD. Mines an 10.5" wide tyre on a 16x8 rim, but still only a little 265/70/16... still bigger than anything ever needed around here!! See lots of new trucks running about on these huge alloy wheels and road tyres.
