Warn 8274

Can anyone tell me the best place to get the brushes for a hi mount ?

I know Warn has them but can I get them cheaper ?

I just replaced the solenoids and they were $25 each - Warn wanted $50 each

Also, just incase the brushes don't sort the job, what's the damage for a new motor ?

Thanks

Where did you get the solenoids please?

The winch doctor might be able to help you for brushes. Sorry but no idea of address - in Sydney somewhere.

Ateco want $440 for a 2.5hp (only a few left) and something like $550 for a 4.6.

Man I don't really even know what I need/want  I was told the brushes were on the way out. The solenoids were just done, so it leaves the brushes :?

Maybe the whole motor is rooted, but I thought the brushes might be worth a try first :)

Just after ideas and rough costs atm ;)

Thanks
