Who`s running radial claws?

Post by MissDrew »

How much did you pay and how many k`s you getting outer them?
Sales guy said his navara(I seen it) has done 30,000kms so far and they still had heeps left on them.
Looking at a set of 35x12.5x15 for a mates V6 hilux and have been quoted $325 each but if paying cash can get them for about $300 to $310 each.

Yep I run 35x12.5 Radial Claws every day and luv em. I have done events and day trips on them and havnt found a fault yet. Done 15,000 Kays so far and look as good as new. They are excelent on the road, (wet or dry). I did a 26hr pre run for the Pajero Challenge and drove the ass off them and two days later towed the Mav to XRCC total of 3000km+ on the same tyres and still giving tham shyt. YEP GET THEM.
NOW ABLE TOO SAY WHAT I WANT WITHOUT FEAR OF LOOSING SALES.
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it.

I run a set and like them.. mine have worn fairly quick though, and I'd be pushing to get 30K out of them and have tread left..

I am sure that ruff has mentioned you guys before and let everyone know that you look after board members.

Good on ya for the offer as I am sure it can only help all involved as long as the 10% is not taken off an already inflated price.

I am sure you guys are good though. I bought my first set of tyres from u and was very happy with servive and price.
I think most people around the Brisbane area know who and where fourby's is.

Back on topic!!! does anyone know what the tread depth is on the radials as I was told it is very shallow....... :?:
It is interesting that it was said that a 33 on an 8" rim was 34 or bigger as a new 35 bias claw is lucky to be a 33 on a 10" rim!!!!

Cheers

Nah mate, the 10% discount is off normal retail. No smoke and mirrors or anything shonky. We wouldnt be in business as long as we have by ripping people off.
Back to the topic, the 33 12.50r15 radial claw has 16mm of tread.....

Just had a look on the mickey thompson website:
http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/truck.html

Closer to 16.5mm of tread. (Provided my convertion from inches to mm is correct ;) )
At $274.50 a tyre, can't go wrong.
I am about to put a set of 35's on my ute.
Drove on the Radial Claws on another vehicle.... was really impressed with the way they handle on the bitumen for an obviously more off road orientated tyre.
Perfect tyre for the serious daily driver.

yeah mate my rims are 15''x8'' and my 33's measure over 34'' but downside is they are only 11.8 inches wide.

I'm also interested to find out if this offer still stands.

Also is there anyone out there who replied earlier in this thread that has racked up more Kms on there Radial Claws that can give a progress report.

Cheers

I agree that it is good tyre and it looks better than any other muddie, but it would have to be the noisiest tyre ever.It even shakes the car as it takes off and comes to stop, due to even lug spacing
