Toyota lsd's don't work from the get go, best to fit some sort of locker. You'll have to be more specific with the lift mate, like what you want to do with it, where do you want to go etc. You could also try the search function or the landcruiser bible for the info already on the site.

Later model 60's had LSD's but not worth the effort of using one. I get 1-2 tracks use when shimmed, tightened etc for comp use (only been allowed an LSD rear for trophy class), then they are useless. Put a locker in.

Cheapest way to lift it would be extended shackles, but this isn't necessarily the best way. What state are you in, what do you want to do with it, what tyres do you want to fit, what do you tow, what is your budget?????? Just dont buy blue shackles, apparently they suck...

A 80 rear LSD will fit in the front of a 60 no dramas as for shackles I would not go over 200mm and just keep them a chassis black colour as the bright ones attract coppers LOL

2 inch springs 2 inch shackles will give you about 3 inch over all, Take a leaf out of the springs all around and it will really liven up your travel. As already said forget about yota LSD. Get a lokka
