Re: power steering box
60 and 70 series sector shafts turn the opposite way with same input shaft rotation.. 60, 80 and 100 turn the same. 60 and boxes 80 are different, but cant comment on 80-100 similarities..

Re: power steering box
Thats right, whats so hard to comprehend about that? The shaft is mentioned in one sentence and the boxes in the others. I'll edit it.

Re: power steering box
Just checked Repco's listing and they list exactly the same exchange box for both the FZJ80 and the FZJ105. So going by that I would say they are the same steering box (if the listing is correct).
Edit: Toyodiy.com confirms this.
FZJ80 http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_G_1996_T ... _4505.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
FZJ105 http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_G_2002_T ... _4505.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Same steering box.

Re: power steering box
They are mechanically the same, but the sector shaft from the 105 has a larger diameter at the splines than the 80. You would be going backward on strength. Good luck.
