GQ PATROL WAGON TWIN GAS TANKS?
Re: GQ PATROL WAGON TWIN GAS TANKS?
Got twin tanks on mine. I have 95l usable in the rear and 50l usable drivers side belly. I think the tank is an APA ?B80? I have twin fillers and a switch on the dash to choose which tank. I have a 2 inch body lift to fit the tank in.

Re: GQ PATROL WAGON TWIN GAS TANKS?
Have just done this myself have a 95l usable tank in behind the seat its a long thin tank that still allows me to get the waeco in easily and 100l usuable under the back as well as the 70l petrol beside the drive shaft you do loose a bit of space but you also save it by not having to carry jerries. I can comfortable get 700kms fully loaded on hilly dirty terian on gas + another 350km on petrol. Only have 1 filler and use both tanks at the same time i like to keep it simple i couldnt see the point on seperate switches for each tank, when you run out you run out .
Re: GQ PATROL WAGON TWIN GAS TANKS?
hi guys
thanks for the replys, i cant put a body lift in as the engineer will not write out the report as it already has a 3 inch suspension lift so im thinking i will have to go with the tank in the back. which will mean i have a 68 usable litre tank in the back and 92 usable under the back so hopefully it will get me 550 to 600khs.
i will be putting a switch in so i can change from tank to tank so i make sure i wont run out of gas as it is a little hard to carry gas in jerry cans!!!
cheers.
