FJ or BJ Drivers Seats. whats the story

Post by BIG ZOOK »

it seams very hard for me to find an original FJ or BJ drivers seat prefferably late model. i thought everyone upgraded the seats so there would be plenty around but it seams they toss them out at the tip!

they may be a collectors item soon

A mate recently scored some off cheap off ebay recently, so there is a few out there.

I think Brooksy has a set of late model BJ ones he wont be needing.

I've got a pair of 83 late model (tank under floor) on eBay at the moment for 99c - located in Albany Creek. Drivers seat has 2 tears along the seams which would be fairly easy to fix, and a couple of shagged springs. Passenger seat is not torn and springs seem OK. I woulda put them on here for a 6-pack but I don't have trading access :(

I dumped a pair a few years ago as well as nobody wanted them

My old BJ40 had 60 series front seats fitted, the drivers bucket was good but the bench was a bit ordinary.
