fuel probs

Post by borgy11 »

ok.here goes.
i have a hilux with a 22r in it.
about 3 weeks ago it had a problem where i would drive the car and it would run no worries for as long as i wanted then if i stopped the car for around 30 mins to an hour, when i would go to drive again it would get about 100 meters then feel like its starving for fuel, then stop.
i have would have to wait a bit till the car cooled down then it would start and run fine.
i changed the fuel filter and it went away. OR SO I THOUGHT.
today it has started doing the same thing,
i was thinking i should change the filter again and open it up to inspect for crap in fuel, but before i do this has anyone else had any thing similar.
