where is the best place to buy rear springs for a 79 fj45 ute.Im in brisbane.
I wont be doing any serious work and not carrying any weight . Its just for driving the tracks 30 % road 70% and some beach work. The springs in it now arent broken but have sagged pretty bad over the years.

Try any suspension place, Dobinsons and EFS are a decent start, EFS is reasonably cheap too.

If it was me, I'd be swapping across to the longer springs as per late model utes/troopies. If you can get a longer spring in there, you can get more travel, some wheelbase stretch and probably even improve the ride quality.
It'll require new (big eye) mounts for the front eyes and new, repositioned mounts for the shackle end.
