yep bit spontaneous of me. decided one day i wanted to go bush and do some 4x4 . just wanted a basher so 3 days later had this and now the fun begins. Its pretty good condition for a 1979 model fj45.
Im certainly keen to put some nice chrome wheels one it with some chunky mud tires.been looking on summit and jegs sites and just get them shipped over, seems to be alot cheaper at the moment with the dollar. I know nothing about what backspacing works yet and what wheels will suit but im about to start researching . Ill do a disc brake set up in the future and eventually strip it bare and rebuild it to better than new. I wont find an easier car to do that too.
give me 6 months and it will have a fastburned 383 in it. not sure how long my diff or transmission will last but i dont really care to be honest.

That looks like a tidy ute, nice score.
That is one loooong tray.
Where are you located?
I might be able to help you out with a disc brake set up.

had a good drive in it today but wont be long before i get bored and tear it apart for a full rebuild including that tray henko. undecided if i will go a flat timber tray or build something for a full canopy, maybe incorporate both.
