hey all need sum advice i have a 1990 lux 35 mudzilas custom tube work any way i bought a surf 1992 turbo 2.4 got the car cheap az i pulled the turbo unit off to pu on my 3l and oil line are difrent can i change the oilfilter plate thing on the side of the motor 2.4 surf motor to my 3l motor cherrs oh and if any 1 wants some parts let me no no rearend going in my lux no front doors or gaurds evry thing else is there

ok I have done this you need to change the oil cooler (the alloy bit on the side of the block) to fit the oil lines this will also change your filter to a z334 wich is a better filter but a lot dearer you will also need the oil line for the alternater of the surf as they are different as well then you will need to braise a fitting into the sump for the oil return from the turbo and while you are at it you might as well fit the sump off the surf for more oil capacity

PS there is a bolt inside the oil filter fitting to remove it off the surf motor

tugerah behind west field at the kangy angy bends u keen to hit the bush sum time i need sume more keen 4wding m8s :D turbo fitted fine thanks to wood butcher i gotta get sum pics of my lux up i just painted it pearl blue metalic looks nicee im gunna hate the lantarana but i can spray it a again :)

No worries mate and did you turn up (screw it down)the fuel screw half a turn??

yep surely did mmmmm muma lv that whhtshhhhi highly advise turbo conversion im going biger pistons soon
