Air locker part numbers

Post by beebee »

I'm looking for the part numbers for two air lockers, compressor and all the shiat for my 91 model, petrol, 4.88, widetrack rear stuff. The arb price list suggests RD01 for front and RD23 for rear. I believe there is another option that has bigger side bearings or something? If I have these part numbers correct, could somone please confirm this.

Thanks

The RD23 has the larger side bearings and if you buy them from ARB Southside Mark Lacey will only supply the RD23 to fit all Hilux's.This is a better unit and will still fit the earlier Diffs with smaller side bearings but you need to buy the larger side bearings to suit.

If you are going to buy these then Mark is the man to see for a good cash deal.

I think that Mark was the guy that I saw and you are right - he did gine be a cood price for cash. Especially seeing thast the Bowen Hills store said that they wouldn't give any discount. I have a mate who has told me he know someone who knows someone or something that can get the stuff cheap. If it is true (yet to find out) and I get hooked up, I'll try to help others out as well. The reason that I need the part numbers was to obtain a price from the afor mentionioned party.

That's good advice from Ruff. Also, you can dowload the definative ARB Air Locker part list from ARB at http://www.arb.com.au/alac/AU_International/215109.pdf
