Well it was shapping up to be a good run until the down hill of checkpoint 1 when I snapped the selector shaft on steering box. Good thing it happened there and not on the road or going up a hill.... That could have been a lot worse

Thanks for the guys who gave me a lift out and then Piglet for helping tow the recovery vehicle with the Cruiser on a trailer up two of the hills.

Now to find another steering box or selector shaft....

What a orsome night, got home at 2am, best one this year.Big  to brett and his cpts marshalls. And  to birdy cooking the hot food at the start. Using the GPS setup was good fun. After a couple goes i bounced my way up cpt1. With a bit of rock stacking and aaron showing me the way we got through the hard section on cpt2. Cpt3 was orsome, fell into the creek at the start and with the bullbar wedge in the bank pull the winch cable out and just bulldozed the bullbar through the bank. putting it on a few more interesting side angals i drag my way out of the end of the creek, 1 more steep hill climb the run was finnished. Thankz once again to brett for a good night :!:

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

i could not believe you took the lux through checkpoint 3 Steve. Top effort and I had not cleared that one for you either like i did on 2. My alternator crapped out and did not want to get stuck on 3 and not be able to use the winch. Loved the 2 k runs between points.
