Just wondering if they came out in any width other than 16x5.5? I have some chrome rims from a BJ42 LX and stamped on the rim is J6x16, does this mean this is a 6" inch wide rim?

Also, did any 60's, 75's or 80s (6 stud) ever come with a wider 16inch rim than that?

Just wondering if my only options for a wider 16" rim are aftermarket...

Yes, it means it's a 6" wide rim.
80 series came out with 8" wide rims as well. I think the 60 came out wih either a 6" or 7"
