need some new skinnys..what you choice?

Post by gingerbreadman »

Not sure if i have many options but i have a spare set of 15x8 sunny rims so i might as well put some cheap but decent road tires on them. What i want is the skinniest road tire i can get for that size rim so what have you used that you liked. I just put some 33 MTZ,s on my other rims so i would like to have both extremes to use on my 1979 fj45. thanks

road tyres pretty much max out at 31x10.5r15... if your geared for 33's then i'd say your best bet is something like the kumho 825 in 33x12.5

BFG make 33x10.5x15s, but we have to wait a month or two until they hit our shores. I want them now dammit. :x

Sell those 15x8 rims. You should get something for them. Then buy some split rims. The go for peanuts on ebay. I got a set for 99 cents. Then you can run a 7.50 which is almost 32 inches tall, but only 6 or 7 wide.
